One Stop Consult have recently completed a project for a new client in Nuneaton.

The client requested a structural survey to take place of the existing steel beam installation already completed by a builder for their extension when realising they had no structural calculations at the end of the job.

Once the engineers completed the survey, it was discovered the beams and the loads were not adequate so we assisted in carrying out a retrospective structural design & calculations report to see what was going to be needed to make the extension safe. Following this, the homeowner needed someone they could trust to rectify the defects and contraventions, so we introduced a local building contractor that we have worked with previously. This was then certified by the Structural Engineer and Local Authority Building Control so the client could get signed off.

Overall our service provider had a quick turnaround time and was able to book a site visit before works commenced, client was extremely happy with the outcome of the project and thanked the One Stop team for going that extra mile.
