One of our existing developers recently instructed us to assist with multiple Design Services & Private Building Control for a new build 3 bedroom, detached, dwelling in Atherstone. Services required for this development included a Phase I Desktop Study, L1A SAP Calculations, and Water Usage calculations of which we have provided already. Further to this we will be assisting the developer throughout the project when needed as well as completing Air Permeability & Ventilation Extract tests when the build is ready to ensure it complies with regulatory standards.

One Stop Consult have received another instruction to assist a developer on another site just up the road from our office.

This developer is erecting a 1.5 Storey dormer bungalow, along with an integral garage.

To start with, as with any site about to be developed the client needed to carry out a Phase I Desktop study, something we were able to provide the client through our supply chain.

Being involved from this stage of the development means we are in the best position to work closely with the developer to try and design the build in a cost efficient way. This can include; foundation level, to choosing insulation or even heating systems.

As well as the Phase I Desktop Study, we were also instructed here to provide SAP calculations with EPC’s, Water Usage calculations and again the Air Tightness & Ventilation Testing.
