About the project
This is a single two storey, three bedroom detached house on land off Warehouse Yard in Bedworth.
We provided building control, SAP calculations, an overheating assessment and water calculations, along with air tightness and ventilation testing and the EPC.
The ground called for deep foundations, taken 1.9m through fill to bear 450mm into medium shrinkable clay. Precast concrete beams and a superstructure with a 150mm insulated cavity followed in July 2023. By September first fix was under way, with studwork finished and acoustic insulation going into the first floor.
