Contamination Report

Contamination Report

A Contamination Report is used to provide advice to developers and landowners if there is any contamination on a site where the development is proposed, contamination can accumulate over time or occur naturally.

The main purpose of a Contamination Report is to identify whether the land poses a risk to the environment or human health, reports are normally required by the Local Authority as part of any planning applications Or warranty providers requirements / Building Control.

Contamination Reports are typically done in I phase, depending on the outcome of phase I.  A phase II may be necessary depending on the previous use of the site or if any contamination is encountered when digging foundations.
